Pebble & Palm Homewares
I’ve always loved local homewares store, Pebble and Palm and I met the lovely owner, Amanda, right back when she first opened at an SA Woman Networking Event. Amanda curates her store like no other and has the most beautiful gifts, homewares and clothing! And being more coastal focussed theres always something I have my eye on.
So when Amanda asked about collaborating on a photo shoot down at the beach to help bring some local focus to her brand and store I was excited! Photographing at Brighton or Seacliff is my happy place and one I am so very familiar with.
We set about transporting all of the required items down to Seacliff Beach one late afternoon, in order to capture the golden hour that day. And did the weather turn it on for us, or what? It was one of the best evenings ever – perfect for our relaxed little photo shoot.
The aim of the photo shoot was to showcase various products sold at Pebble and Palm whilst promoting the store is local, just like Amanda. Once we had lugged all of the items down to the sand dunes, Amanda set to work layering her throws and vases with chairs and stools over the course of the hour while I focussed on the details, the light and background. I loved watching Amanda curate the various vases, throws and other decorative items in collections (she really does have the most natural sense for home styling!).
A collection of photos from the day is shown in the album below and many more you can see on Pebble and Palm’s Instagram account.
