Jen & Josh – One Paddock Wines
I was so honoured to capture Jen & Josh’s wedding and the reason is because Jen is my cousin! These two have been together for some 12 years and they were so excited to finally be tying the knot. They have since had a little one and this day was their chance to celebrate all that they had become as a gorgeous couple and partners in life. Anyone who knows Jen will know that this girl is one of the most effervescent people I know and her laugh (and outlook at life) is contagious! She is ready for fun at any moment and is one of the most beautiful humans I know!
Jen wore a beautiful Boho gown but the highlight was her Tiff Manuel Veil with stunning colours. It added a pop of colour Jen wanted to her outfit.
One Paddock Winery was gorgeous and has a lot of beautiful areas around the venue to photograph in – the only problem is time! On this day we didn’t have enough time to fit it all in but in saying that we conquered a lot of spots and tried to take advantage of the locations we chose.
Jen & Josh chose to do their photos before the ceremony so they could celebrate with their guests after and not have to run off for hours. We did a first look after doing the boys, then the girls shots followed by the bridal party shots at the front of the venue.
I have to tell you that this venue has amazing staff! Andy, the manager was regularly checking in with the couple and guests to make sure everyone was well and served, he updated us on timings and kept things moving so smoothly on the day. Oh and the food was amazing!! So fresh, light and super tasty!
The speeches into the evening were heartfelt and beautiful. Jen’s girlfriends were full of praise and finished with a flash mob dance which was brilliant! And the DJ kept the shoes game moving with his rapid fire questions which was pretty funny to see their quick reactions and honesty about each other! Overall, a truly beautiful day and nothing short of memorable!
