Beautiful Wedding venues

In & around Adelaide, South Australia

We truly are blessed to have so many locations to get married in this stunning South Australia. Here is a collection of Adelaide wedding venues that you might love to consider for your own wedding that I have photographed over the years. From gardens, wineries, rustic, coastal vibes and the city, I’m sure you’ll find something you’ll love! I have not exhausted the list by any means, these are just some of the more recent weddings I have photographed.
I have tried to link my blog posts to each of the weddings so you can check out a gallery from each one. The bottom ones I have not done so as they are quite old and I haven’t been back to these venues in a while. I’d love to hear what you think! Enjoy!

Oxenberry Farm

McLaren Vale Wedding Photographer Adelaide

Oxenberry Farm is a sweet venue with it’s cottage garden, or the choice to marry near the lake. There are vineyards, a bridge, weeping willow and a lake. Check out Kaitlyn & Sam’s wedding shot there recently.

Barn 1890, McLaren Flat/ Willunga

Barn 1890 Wedding Photography

Barn 1890 has a vintage/rustic vibe about it. With the mix of eclectic chairs for your guests and gardens surrounding the old Barn there is plenty of choice for photos. There is a vineyard next door for those vine shots and the big gum trees make for a more bush backdrop. The barn is cosy and sweet but tight if you want a large guest party.

National Wine Centre, Adelaide City

Adelaide Wedding Photographer

For a city location, the National Wine Centre has the benefit of being right next door to the Adelaide Botanic gardens. Although the grounds the centre sits on are beautiful and perfect for photos. The entrance to the Wine Centre is beautifully designed and a true feature of the venue. See more of Nick & Bee’s Wedding.

Adelaide Botanic Gardens

With so many locations within the one venue the Botanic Gardens are a great central location (sorry, my practical side will always take over!). If you prefer just gardens and trees there are perfect spots for that, buildings and conservatories – they have those too! If you choose to have your reception elsewhere it’s generally not too far for your guests to travel post wedding (also allowing them time to change and get something to eat). Glanville Hall

Semaphore Grange Largs Wedding location

Glanville Hall located in Semaphore has a couple of options for your ceremony. At the West side there is a large Morton Bay fig and the east side of the building there are lawns and gardens (as you can see here). Both are lovely. On the west side there is a lovely barn for dancing and guests to hang out in or guests can spill out onto the paved area under the Morton Bay Fig tree. A lovely feel so close to the beach. Bridgewater Mill

The Bridgewater Mill has that mix of modern and rustic and a whole lotta vibe going on. Whether you want an intimate wedding or a full on party, this venue is suitable for both. Inside the reception venue it has multiple floors where guests can sit and watch the action on the main floor (perfect for larger groups) but it also works for smaller weddings. The tiered decks are great for ceremonies and guests to hang out on as the sun sets. Nestled in the Adelaide Hills, it’s a beautiful spot surrounded by trees. See Deb & Graham’s Wedding.

Mt Osmond Golf Club

Mt Osmond Golf Club definately competes with Mt Lofty Summit for a stunning wedding backdrop! The views are impeccable and the trees around the course make it beautiful. Not to mention the fun you get driving in the golf carts! Check out Alex & Dion’s Wedding.

Silvestris Wedding

Silvestris is immaculately kept and maintained! Located in the cooler small town of Clarendon it’s not too far out of town but feels like a world away. The team ensure the venue is kept neat and beautiful all year round. I even love how they hang the chandelier in the rotunda! Gorgeous. Check out this wedding shot there.

Adelaide Oval Wedding

Adelaide Cricket Oval Wedding

Adelaide Oval -I know this photo is not representative of the Adelaide Oval, even though it was taken right next door! There were so many spots around this venue I loved – this being one of them and is a part of the Tennis Club. Overall a brilliant location that is central and stunning. I could have easily spent another hour capturing this crew (if only we had more daylight!).

Mt Lofty Summit

Mount Lofty Summit is such a unique location with stunning views over Adelaide that are hard to replicate elsewhere.

Woodhouse Manor

Woodhouse Manor Wedding

Woodhouse Manor located in Piccadily, the hills of Adelaide, was a sweet location. The venue allow a lot of freedom when it comes to food and drinks (so they did last time I was there, this may have changed). I loved the various aspects suitable for photographing my couple to give them a variety of images. As soon as I upload their wedding I’ll link to it!

Backyard Garden Wedding

Simple garden wedding photography Adelaide

You don’t always need a fancy venue to celebrate your marriage with family and friends. A simple, backyard can be transformed into a perfect wedding location to party the day away in! I do recommend getting it catered and waitered for so as to reduce the pressure on your helpers! See more of Anna & Sam’s Wedding.
