Alan & Joan – Glenelg
Photographing a 60th Wedding Anniversary celebration is always a delight for me! So when Craig reached out to me to capture his parents Anniversary Celebration I was honoured. The family were from the country and had come together to celebrate their parents, with their respective partners to have a celebratory lunch at Glenelg.
As they were having a family lunch in the Glenelg area they were keen to be photographed close by. I photograph families at Glenelg all the time and when scouting the area I saw how beautiful the Glenelg Town Hall was and knew it would make the ideal backdrop (also perfect to avoid the slightly windy day and not get sand in their shoes!!).
We ran through as many combinations as possible and the ‘kids’ suggested ‘a kiss while us kids look like we’re being sick shot’ – you have to laugh! I went with it for giggles and it does add an element of fun to the shots! Overall the shoot was around 45 minutes and we got a sweet collection of photos and my clients were very happy with the outcome!
