Whether it’s a secret proposal, a relaxed couple’s photoshoot or your engagement party event with all of your favourite people, I’d love to help you capture it.
Hi, I'm Carly
Getting engaged is one of those big, exciting chapters, and I love being part of it. As an Adelaide engagement photographer, I get to work with couples in all sorts of ways — from sneaking around helping plan a surprise proposal (I’ll even arrange the champagne and glasses!), to a relaxed couples photoshoot in your favourite location, right through to photographing the engagement party itself.
However you’re celebrating, my approach stays the same: natural, candid and unhurried, so the photos actually feel like you, not like a stiff, staged shoot.
Based in Brighton, I travel all across Adelaide, the Adelaide Hills, McLaren Vale and beyond. I’d love to hear your plans.

01 - You're planning a surprise proposal
Popping the question and want it captured without giving the game away? As your surprise proposal photographer, I’ll work with you beforehand on timing, location and how to keep it secret, then blend into the background so I can capture that split-second reaction — the real one, not a re-enacted one. Nerves, tears, laughter, all of it.
I’ll even organise the celebratory bottle of bubbles and glasses for you so you can celebrate on the spot (and catch your breath!).
Perfect for: beach proposals, hidden hilltop lookouts, a favourite local spot, or anywhere with a bit of privacy to set the scene.
02 - You want a relaxed engagement photoshoot
Freshly engaged and want some gorgeous photos of you both to celebrate? An engagement photoshoot is a lovely way to get comfortable in front of the camera together (great practice before a wedding shoot too!), and gives you beautiful images to share, print or use for save-the-dates.
We’ll pick a location that feels like you — coastal, hills, or somewhere with a bit of sentimental meaning — and I’ll guide you gently through poses so it never feels awkward.
